You can’t tell the actual crowd size from the pictures of the capitol grounds. At least 90% of the crowd is OUTSIDE the fence.
Well, I guess I was wrong. Capital Police estimate the crowd at 22,000, 7,000 inside and 15,000 outside the fence around Capital Square.
