I would never advocate capital punishment for any of the offenders mentioned in this bill.

I do, however, advocate dropping them off by helicopter at the 1500-mile marker of the Aleutian Island chain with instructions to walk/swim home while contemplating their offenses.

I did not think about the President’s statement from that point of view. Northam could take it as a threat about his leadership and behavior.

Whose to say that he has not confronted Northam on the phone? Ralphie is on a dangerous path and the threats the POTUS makes in situations are legal. He would no doubt informed him of things he could do to protect American citizens.
