Four teachers from a Los Angeles-area school sued Delta Air Lines on Friday, saying they were exposed to jet fuel when a plane with engine trouble dumped its fuel over a densely populated area, including several schools, while making an emergency return to the airport.
At a news conference, the teachers described the fuel as drizzling down like raindrops with overwhelming fumes. They said their panicked students screamed and cried.
The plaintiffs could feel the fuel on their clothes, their flesh, their eyes and their skin, said the teachers attorney, Gloria Allred, who noted that her firm may add teachers or students to the lawsuit.

Th ambulance chaser is involved.
A flight that needs to dump fuel is a special flight.
Stop using a below average pilot on Youtube as an authority.
The dope who crashed the 767 in Houston was also credentialed. If he made Youtube videos you’d believe every word he said about flying.
I won’t cast aspersions here but your unsupported allegations on Mr. Brown’s credentials are just that. A convincing case cannot be made to me on hearsay or opinion. I’ve been involved with aviation and ATP rated pilots my entire life. You don’t become a 777 pilot flying international routes if you are a marginal pilot, those jobs only go to the most qualified high time pilots. Your argument is specious and unsupported therefore not worthy of further discussion.
Man! That sounds like some interesting duty. The stuff you must have seen!
was much more interesting than working for a living.
You can break the rules in an emergency.
It smelled like money, burned like a new 100k of free money. My goodness this country is insane.
I wont cast aspersions here but your unsupported allegations on Mr. Browns credentials are just that.

In his first videos he stated that the military wouldn’t let him fly their high performance aircraft, and now he is getting near the end of his career still flying in the right seat. I’ve seen his other false claims and his latest FAA regulation claim is bunk. His claims and opinions shouldn’t be take seriously. He stinks. He’s doing Youtube videos to make himself feel more competent than he is by fooling people who don’t know any better.
Half of all pilots are below average. I gave you an example of a terrible pilot who has nearly the same credential as your Youtube hero.
Yes you can. If you go to VAS Aviation and listen to the ATC conversation the flight crew stated they had a restart and were under control. ATC then asked if they would like vectors for fuel dumping and the crew declined. The conversation continues for some time and the crew never informs ATC of fuel dumping. Yes, in emergencies you do what’s necessary, but these pilots are going to get a rectal exam by the FAA.
