You have a good point. But if you dove into the whole thing....there’s a list of 200 screw-ups or mistakes made by the House Democrats...that made this a lose-lose type situation. Legal minds will still be talking about this...a hundred years into the future.
Oddly enough, this week, Avenetti (the lawyer for Stormy Daniels) was arrested by IRS agents, and his whole spectacle is dissolving away. All of this theatrical stuff never went anywhere.
If they bring up Russia-election-meddling again in this trial the Trump team should demand Christopher Steele as a witness. And Horowitz to reiterate his finding that the “Steele Dossier” was bogus and the FBI agents who knew it was bogus and ... so on and so forth.
