Movie star Vince Vaughn, a self-described libertarian who has supported Republican candidates in the past, is facing backlash on social media after a video emerged on Twitter showing him with President Trump in a private box during the national championship game Monday in New Orleans, La., a video showed.
Vaughn was seen chatting and laughing with the president as Melania sat between them -- before the pair shook hands and Trump appeared to point to the star's lanyard, according to a 31-second clip uploaded to Twitter.
The video was uploaded by former Deadspin employee, Timothy Burke, who captioned it, "I'm very sorry to have to share this video with you. All of it, every part of it."

Long before this, when he first started, I was not a Vaughn fan. His smirky, smart-alec humor didn’t fly with me for some reason.
But then I saw an incredible DRAMA with him as a US student detained in (as I recall) Thailand for drugs, and he put on a fantastic performance. I started paying closer attention to him, and grew to really like him-—again, long before I knew he was in some respects a conservative.
Don’t worry about VV. He is mature, knows how to handle the Hollywood black listers, and is friends with The Rock. Gonna be hard to keep him from roles if the Rock wants him.
Bravo for Vince!

My B-I-L used to pal around with Vince in Malibu years ago.
He always said he was a stand up guy and Vince was amazed by his own success.
Now is the time that Vince will find out who his Friends really are.
What is wrong with people? Libs did the same thing to Ellen.
MD - Fair point, I should have been more clear, Gervais as you know has been most vocal / pushing back on Hollywoods claim of moral superiority. It would be great if actors would take the overt step to produce films with casts spanning political views. Its OK to disagree politically , we can work together......

Timothy Burke said that his father used to reassure him that he may not need to be completely useless in life ...... you can always serve as a bad example.
