Well, the Gestapo was for internal police enforcement, and Hitler still would have had the Army and the SS; but the parallel between Himmler and Soleimani is still relevant and instructive. No one would have whined if we had sent some special forces types behind the lines to waste Himmler. It would have led to universal rejoicing, even among pusillanimous democrats.
