Harry & Meghan's child has pretty much no chance of being King. It isn't a "ranking" of the children; there is an order, a tradition to how the Crown is passed down to future generations. After Elizabeth, comes Charles, after Charles, comes William, after William, his son, George. After George, any children he may have, then any children they may have.
William and Kate's children and grandchildren, means that "Archie" has about zero chance of being King.
Again, this is not a "ranking" as much as it is a tradition and the legal way that the Crown is passed from one generation to another.
Exactly. And I just find that dynamic toxic and harmful for the child who had no choice in being born into the family and then subtly treated as lesser than during his formative years.
Archie is better off in Canada and growing up with his own strong sense of identity separate from the RF. How the couple and Palace are handling the whole move out debacle though is another story. Its only been a day. Things will smooth out.
