I agree. No sense taking out historical/cultural sites if at all avoidable. Better to wait for another opportunity if needed. It would be like attacking their heritage such as bombing Mt. Rushmore to us. We don’t want to alienate those in Iran who support the overthrow of the current corrupt regime.
You need to reread my post. If we had an evil regime hiding nuclear or chemical weapons in Mt Rushmore I wouldn’t flinch if it was destroyed. Now if you just destroyed it for no reason then that would be something else.
