I studied art all through school, grades 1 - 12 and majored in art in college. Also I studied psychology, education, history, jewelry making, and foreign languages. All of these have come in very handy in my almost 70 years. I truly appreciate all art, even if dedicated to a false god. Or a ideology that I don’t agree with. Like when the Taliban blew up those huge rock sculptures.
But human life is even more precious than art works.
And, yes, you can easily make a living doing art. No problem.
It’s not cultural/historical stuff that’s enslaving the Persian people.
It’s psychotic medieval ragheaded totalitarians, hence my targeting preferences.
I would, however, make an exception for that outhouse covered rock in Mecca.
Many of those sites in question are Indo-Aryan, not Muslim. There is a connection to the history of our people, if you are European.
And, yes, you can easily make a living doing art. No problem. ................................... Agree! Been there done that. Still doing a couple of things here and there. Worked in the Corporate world then found out there was more to make in the art world. You might say I found freedom! Leaning to the military side, its time to get the hell out of the Mid east and everywhere else, but the military industrial complex will always be there. (Its part of the economy and it contributes in many ways. Wars lead to advanced developments and they will always be there for us.)
