If the democrats thought Bolton or any other players would have bolstered their fake but accurate investigation they would have fought the subpoeanas until they showed up.

I agree - he might say that he didn’t agree with the President’s decisions but it’s his job to do as the President wishes, not make the decisions.
Bolton is fine. He clashed with Trump and rightly parted ways.
His work in the UN was excellent and he might not be perfect, but he is better than a Cruz or Rubio, who have sold out.
The House Democrats pulled their subpoenas because the White House officials, including Bolton, went to a federal judge to decide if they must testify or not. Democrats were afraid the judge would rule against them, leaving only one article of impeachment remaining.
It demonstrates what a fraud this entire process has become.
I think John Bolton is fully in President Trump court. He has nothing to gain or moral position for turning on the President. Unlike Senator McCain, He will not let opinion differences get in the way.
I believe the democrats didn’t want him to testify in the house.
I stopped caring about the impeachment thing until the Senate does something. That’s probably weeks away.

Indeed. There may be things one can say against Bolton, but the man places great value on the power of the executive branch. The current occupant of the White House is beside the point. Bolton is not going to support a secret coup from the legislative branch that would hamstring the office of the president.
While not disagreeing with your general premise, I wouldn’t bet the Country on it.
