I remember when we first went into Afghanistan .
We are now creeping up on TWENTY YEARS in the biz of “nation-building” in the home of fatalism, illiteracy, boy-humping and heroin production.
It is literally Graveyard of Empires.
Now..?
We going to do it all over again, except with a country the size of Texas with plenty of money, souls and tech.

“America first” does not mean “let people attack your embassies, and you slink away like a little bitch” so that some people with weak stomachs feel better.
Apparently all the complaining about Benghazi and Hillary was just posturing on this side by some of you. Hell she totally did the right thing, apparently.
I’m all for pulling our troops out of the deserts and letting the savages sort it out.
But according to Pompeo’s earlier interview, we had solid evidence of American lives in immediate risk.
Until we pull them out, we ought to do all we can to protect them. This was a “good shoot”.

Don’t be fooled. We’re not in Afghanistan for nation building. We couldn’t care less what happens to that nation. Besides, we don’t have the resources there to perform the level of nation building that craphole needs.
We’re there to monitor Iran’s nuclear program.
Ah, the Energizer Bunny of rank cowardice appears again. Let me guess: you think that we sould at all costs pretend that we can ignore our enemies until they leave us alone, right?
Thankfully, the rest of us understand what fighting to protect our country really means and will do it again if we have to.
