The guy they actually tried and convicted of the of flight 103’s bombing, Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed al-Megrahi, the head of security for Libyan Arab Airlines, director of the Centre for Strategic Studies in Tripoli, Libya, and an alleged Libyan intelligence officer, was given life by a Scotish court in 2000 and was released in 2009 to die at home from Prostrate cancer.

They never proved the attack was tied in with Gaddafi and they tried, believe me. That was about the time he walked away from socialism, and sharia, and started trying to gain favor with the US and UK. He wasn’t to be trusted and probably lied all the way to his death in 2011. You are probably right, but no proof.
