Many, many businesses are not set up for this. My first offices for the business I owned were two offices (about 14 x 14) across the hall from each other. The bathroom was down the hall. I employed 7 people. Neither office had a private space. Would setting up a screened area be adequate?

My next space was a larger space with a single private office. I gave the private office to my writer so she could conduct phone interviews away from the noise of the larger area. I supposed I could have booted her out if it was needed for lactation.

Maybe some enterprising individual can come up with a pop-up lactating room. Just checked...they already have these. Pods anyway. https://www.mamava.com ($11,250 and up). That company also has an inflatable one that rents for $250/day. That's not anything most small companies can afford for an occasional employee.
