“Straight-ticket voting keeps them in office.”

I’m not sure the alternatives - voting for Democrats in November elections, or sitting out November elections, is all that much better.

You could lop 90% of them into the same party, so what difference does it make?

Disney pulled this same shit under Obama. We voted Trump and the GOP majority and they did NOTHING...absolutely nothing about it. In fact, Paul Ryan and his ilk in the House wanted to expand the program. And we have Mike Lee cheerleading for more H1B in the Senate.

Then you got Trump flip-flopping all over the place on the issue.

I don’t think elections are going to solve this.

Look at it this way:

Democrats are a revolutionary party and are constantly advancing their radical goals. Republicans are a party of "status quo" masquerading as conservatives. What are they conserving? The gains made by Democrats.

Democrats create status quo, Republicans conserve it.

Witness the ACA / Obamacare debacle. It passed without a single Republican vote, and it failed repeal by a single Republican vote. Pathetic.

They constantly stab us in the back, and continue to do it because of straight-ticket voting. See? They're laughing at us:
