Saw a few minutes of a show on network last night. Ellen De Generis and a whole group of mainline stars were giving away tons of money to unsuspecting "little people". In one segment, Michelle Obama visits with schoolchildren, who were totally in awe of her, of course.
Tone deaf is an understatement - who didn't see how this show drips with condescension and elitism? I was actually offended.
