America has become a land of institutional cowards. I don’t mean you, average joe, dragging your aching body out of bed in the morning, facing brutal traffic or dreadful weather, to get on with the job of keeping America running. That takes guts. I don’t mean you, our guardians against mayhem - military or first responders - defending the community. You put your lives on the line every day. I do mean the far too many leaders of our institutions and businesses who haven’t the courage to do what’s right. Cowards, these privileged leaders are.
Leading up to Christmas, corporate cowardice finally jumped the shark: Microsoft posted an icon of Santa’s fur fringed crimson hat in their visual studio. A single person complained - just one: Santa means religion he whined. Stop promoting Santa, stop promoting religion. Obsequious Microsoft complied. The icon vanished. It didn’t matter that fourth century Nicolas of Myra spent his life taking care of the poor and sick. It didn’t matter that honoring this great man’s humanity is always appropriate. It didn’t matter that the nation loves Santa. St. Nick must go. And go he did, banished from Microsoft – banished by corporate cowards.
This corporate kowtowing to complaint has become all too common. Even when submission profoundly violates their own corporate culture, expedience is the first resort of timid executives. Witness Chick-fil-A bowing to the complaints of LGBT mobs to cease supporting the Salvation Army. This is just one example of many.

“Corporate culture” is an oxymoron, like “legal ethics” or “military intelligence”.

Boycotts are one thing but the Left will soon demand we are stopped from anything not to their liking. As people beaten up for being in line for something.
Activists shouted at Pence & his wife when they attended the Broadway show Hamilton. No violence—that time. Cruz, Tucker Carlson, Sarah Huckabee Sanders shoved and screamed at in restaurants then forced to leave. For their own good, it was said.
We have the possibility of our side being denied credit cards, bank accounts with debit cards, college admission, mortgages and housing rights. If an entity does not deny us then they will be pressured and exposed as pro-Trump. And they will meekly give up.
Bank A refuses to take credit card sales from gun dealers and NRA. Bank B says we’re okay with it. Then use Bank B. Then pressure. “All the mass shootings. Somebody do something.” “Children are being shot.” So Bank B refuses, too.
If Ivanka or Don Jr are allowed on a TV panel as a guest the sponsors will face boycotts and never allow that again. “You can’t allow biased people like that on the show. They’re racists like Trump.”
More radio stations soon will drop right sided talk hosts (as they have with Michael Savage and others) for “hate speech.” Mark Levin said some groups around the country pressure stations into pre-empting him and others for sports events, and then to drop the shows.
Good luck in getting an auditorium on a college campus for a speaker who is not for leftist LGBTQ abortion rights. They will break classroom windows, set fire to overturned patrol cars and chant all night “No place for hate on this campus” “Love Trumps Hate Here” as they viciously attack anyone who disagrees. Including physically.

After Commies, LGBTQ activists, Black Lives Matter and garden variety Dems shouting down, screeching, using air horns and making average people afraid to attend, this free speech scene would be more common in Soviet USSR than 2019 Iowa. Most town meetings have been dropped. Jason Chaffetz describes his experiences with that in his book Power Grab (with a mean looking Nancy Pelosi on the cover).
The way to deal with a bully is to stand up to them, often in the form of a punch in the nose. Womyn demand equality, so the whole notion of not hitting a girl is so passé.
Agreed. But I'd prefer that these whiners, always in the minority, be named. Let them deal with the consequences of their actions.
MAKE them have the courage of their convictions.

Muslim imams issue ever more insane edicts in a quest for attention and to seem literally holier than thou. One says men can’t hold melons and women can’t hold cantaloupe. Another says women should only have one eye visible to limit temptation.
Social justice is a cult, religious levels of devotion invested into liberal political ideology. They equate their political dogma with morality and worship the state.
And it is in this context that their hunt for unbelievers, hatred of the infidel and ever more outrageous “this is forbidden/racist” pronouncements arise.
