CA would be worse, but the influx of illegal aliens keeps it down.

You are right. Between the tech HB1 visa people from India, the literal 10 million illegals and their “legal” brood from down south and the influx of Asians, legal or otherwise, CA is teeming with people. Not to mention recent grads who hump it here from Boston or Chicago for their first jobs out of college. Better weather than NYC and more hip opportunities. Getting rich at a start-up is still sexy, even for the brainwashed Socialists, despite what they say to CNN.

Roads and streets are packed, car dealers are doing tons of sales and the tech economy is still paying six figures for $40,000 work. There is investment and housing is still strong.

The problem, in a nutshell, is that the quality of life for us, normal, generational Americans is going down but for tons of people here it is far better than Mexico City, Mumbai or Beijing. Being poor in America with the Dem goodies of free stuff is literally upper middle class in their home countries, with mostly honest cops, schools and clean water. Hard to wedge out free stuff from the psyche. Dems have the tax-dollars-for-votes-and-public-school-unionized-teachers-preach-our-praises-to-schoolkids keeps the young ones blinded and Liberal, with no other perspective (separate topic but relevant).

CA is doomed to become a Balkanized third world mess. Taxes, homeless, greedy unions and moronic Liberals more concerned with weed, sanctuary cities (farm teams for Dem voters), abortion, tranny rights and global warming laws than taxes and true business policies.

I hate this place, I just am waiting to leave as soon as the last one leaves HS.
