Nevertheless, if you anticipate feeling unwelcome in TX or where ever you want to go, you could always stay in NY and try to fight to change it, rather than fleeing.
The state reaches the point of no return such as CA. it is then time to get the hell out, when immigrants far outnumber US citizens it is time to go!!!
