They have bright people. After watching a show on Chinese cops, its clear how much professionalism, intellect and hard work are valued in today’s China.
Maoism is practically dead as an ideology. China is becoming a rich, powerful and prosperous nation.
The Confucian reverence for the scholars has undergone a revival. People with skills and talent are in high demand.
China could use them and the Communist Party’s legitimacy is entirely performance-based.
Govt controlled economies never succeed, China has benefited from economic growth generated by economic suicide by the rest of the world, no environmental impact concerns, no worker concerns, intellectual rights concerns, and the ability to lie about the strength of their economy in general.
