Thanks. Our response in Iraq and Syria seems like a one off. Listened to Pompeo interview this morning on Fox&Friends. No hint of a major conflagration. Some bombast from Iran, but the coverage, nationally and internationally, seems muted. BBC coverage was scant and relegated to the lesser news. We'll see what develops.
Perhaps the Gang of Eight is being briefed about a possible New Year's surprise from NK, which could launch a test firing of an ICBM. Or it could be related to a possible deal with the Taliban.
