Democrats' Stalingrad: The Tide Has Turned on Impeachment

Over the coming weeks, one question will be paramount in the wake of the Democrats’ disastrous impeachment fail. Should President Trump wage a pitched and protracted battle in the upcoming Senate trial? Or will cooler heads--like Senator Lindsey Graham’s--prevail upon him to accept a perfunctory hearing or outright dismissal?

Fox News host Laura Ingraham posited a paraphrase of that question to Ken Starr before Christmas. She asked the former Clinton scandal independent prosecutor whether Trump should simply “declare victory” in light of Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s passive-aggressive call to sit on the House articles like a distraught hen sits on an egg sucked dry by a barnyard viper. Starr opined that the president should move on, sparing the nation the continued sociopolitical angst and division this travesty has wrought.

Not so fast. Graham, fresh from a White House meeting, declared that the president was “mad as hell.” That may indicate that Trump will aggressively move to obtain the exoneration he believes he so richly deserves. But Graham has also said that he doesn’t want to give the Schiff/Nadler impeachment senatorial credibility that it does not deserve.

The 2019 impeachment saga remains extremely fluid. This piece could be rendered obsolete before it is ever published. But it seems we have a temporary status quo. Democrat impeachers have left the building, gone home to face the damage they’ve done to themselves. GOP point men like Rep. Matt Gaetz (for future president?) have done irreparable damage to the flimsy impeachment cause, relentlessly characterizing the debacle for the partisan and pseudo-constitutional circus it is.

Now it’s the Senate’s turn, and Majority Leader McConnell is waiting. But something happened on the way to the upper chamber. Pelosi is hanging fast to the last shred of her party’s denuded credibility. There’s no two ways about it—she has

Having given four congressional testimonies, one in Executive session because of security issues, the other three abut VN and Cambodia, plus having created a major Senate study on “The Human Cost of Communism in Vietnam” 1972 (SISS) and exposed illegal communist money laundering/lobbying (House Ways & Means Committee, Oversight Subc, 1987 on illegal lobbying), plus being a congressional aide, I understand the power that congressional hearings can have.

The Republicans in the Senate MUST hold extensive (months long if necessary) in their Foreign Relations, Intelligence (if you get rid of that idiot chairman Burr, it would help) and Judiciary, subpoenaing every Democrat diplomat, GPS Fusion DNC paymaster, Hillary Clinton, Coie Perkins, Sidney Blumenthal and related crooked friends, CIA, FBI, DNI (Brennan), NSA, and State Department officials involved in the Deep State overthrow plot, members of Obama’s Marxist regime up to including the comrade leader himself (over his failure to aid Ukraine in its resisting Russian aggression), over Joe Biden’s crooked son (and perhaps that of Nancy Pelosi too)in political payoffs in Ukraine, Romania, Red China, and other countries), etc.

Subpoena known or suspected “whistleblowers” and put them under oath. Perjury is a two-edged sword and it is about time that we starting chopping off arms, legs, balls and heads.

See if they can subpoena Christopher Steele and his “Sub-source”, as well as Mifsud, Halper, the Australian diplomat, and any other CIA, FBI or State Dept. officials involved in the illegal FISA warrant/Carter page smear campaigns. Just get the bastards to appear before a committee under subpoena, or have them arrested for failure to appear. If they don’t, the public will get the message that “THEY ARE DIRTY”.

You’ve got to use these traitors as the “foil” around which you present you documentation and arguments about what they did, how they did it, and with whom.

THIS IS WHAT THE PUBLIC WANTS, NOT A BULLSHIT “HELLO, GOODBY” PANSY RESPONSE BY STARR AND GRAHAM.

Hit the bastards right up until election day. Keep them before the cameras and honest media. Name names, provide evidence of the crooked DNC money laundering schemes via Coie-Perkins and others. Nail Comey and Brennan and Clapper to the wall like a cheap piñata. The same for Rice, Hillary, Obama, Rhodes, Obama’s legal counsels, and anyone who told the White House what was going on re the Deep State - Get Trump/Page/Flynn/Stone/Corsi conspiracy.

Do not let the bastards get away UNEXPOSED. Exposure is all we’ve got right now until AG Barr and Durham “do their thing” if they have a “thing” to do (i.e. grand jury indictments, subpoenas, etc).

Not all Americans are stupid liberals and for those who are having second and third thoughts about being a Democrat and a crook, these hearings would justify their leaving the Democrat Party or at least voting for Republicans in order to clean their own house.

“Attack, Attack, Attack” - adopt the same forward action strategy as the Japanese had for Pearl Harbor and Asia, the Germans against Europe, the Communists in Korea and Vietnam, and the Democrats at home.

And finally, politically, TAKE NO PRISONERS! Democrat politicians simply cannot be trusted on the national, state, regional and local levels. Hitler had his Gestapo, SS, and Wermacht, PLUS their “GOOD GERMANS”.

The Democrats have their Gestapo(Sidney Blumenthal and company), their SS of Antifa/Black Lives Matter and related groups, and their Wermacht (the general Democrat voter), plus lots of “Good Democrats” among the black and Hispanic welfare plantation dwellers, corrupt major city politicians, professional political organizers, the Left in Academia and the Media, and the stupids on drugs, alcohol and ignorance.

Time to take them down and out. November can’t come fast enough for me. I’m hoping to live long enough to vote.

It's obvious to me, and to many others smarter than myself, that Pelosi is treating a very serious issue like Trump's impeachment as some sort of petty game.

That being the case, I say give her as much respect for the Constitution and Trump as she is really showing, rather than what she is claiming.

McConnell and Graham should cut her and the House off at the pass and nip this charade in the bud.

Take the advantage she imagines she has as some kind of leverage by holding back transmitting the two articles of impeachment and not delivering them to the Senate, and dismiss the "charges" as not serious, that need to be dispensed with summarily.

Declare Trump exonerated because the two charges from the House and Pelosi's juvenile treatment of them, as not ready for prime time and pull the rug out from under her game.

Don't give her the perceived advantage. Dismiss the whole thing as a non-serious political charade, instead of the serious issue it actually is.

This whole affair is embarrassing to the country and unfair to Trump. Everybody's running around trying to act like this whole charade is serious when it's not. We're looking like fools to the American public and world audience.

Don't give Pelosi's game the credence it deserves and shut it down. The Senate should dismiss the charges or declare Trump not guilty but quit acting like what Pelosi is doing is a serious matter, Her juvenile, petulant behavior makes everyone else look bad, not just her.

And Trump meanwhile is caught in the middle while the Deep Staters be Deep Staters.
