Well my FRiend, I assume nothing when it comes to O’Connell and the rest of the Feckless GOP Senators. And I wouldn’t bet O’Connell has 51 GOP votes in his pocket to dismiss.
The GOP has always sucked at playing poker with the Democrats and I haven ‘t seen much lately to change that opinion.
The GOP has a very strong and long history of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory when it comes to gamesmanship with the Democrats.
Of course this is all in my most humble opinion.

The House impeachment resolution states, in part “the president IS impeached”. Nothing can erase that. However, the Constitution gives the Senate the sole power of conviction. McConnell can do anything he gets 51 votes for.
The Supreme Court has already ruled,on several occasions that it has NO ability to overrule this SOLE authority.
Pelosi is no longer the supposedly stable genius Kim Strassel once admired. She is erratic. To attribute her clumsiness and hatred to strategic intelligence is just stupid.
But I do wonder who controls the rare lucid moments of these obviously deranged individuals. (Politicians, not Strassel)

Push the various factions within the Democrat party toward internecine war for a turnabout.
This entire “impeachment” was never on the level. Pelosi only takes it to a new, absurd level.
I’d say there is a very high probability that internecine war in the DemonRat Party is inevitable.
