No, the house can’t.
As things now stand Trump has not been impeached because the house has not completed its process.

So that would mean that the Democrats went through all of that rigmarole...and then chickened out at the last minute and did not Impeach Donald Trump.

Have you not read the threads which have been continuously posted for the past two days?

If the Republic is “under attack,” then the last thing I’d ever want to see is the U.S. Supreme Court serving as its savior. The Court is a bigger threat to the Republic than any other branch of government.

I’m really surprised to see so many people on this website — of all places — who have faith in the U.S. Supreme Court to render a sound, rational decision.

In the scenario you presented, who gives a sh!t if the House repeatedly votes on new articles of impeachment? There’s nothing there that requires anything to be “fixed” by a court.

Below are two clips from the link:

.................

The Democrats’ own impeachment hearing witness, Harvard Law Professor Noah Feldman, said that not passing on the articles would mean that Trump hadn’t actually been impeached.

..............

Constitutional expert Mark Levin agreed, called it obstruction and a “brazen unconstitutional act,” according to Townhall.

“Here’s what Mitch McConnell and the Senate Republicans must do in response: The Senate has the sole power under the Constitution to adjudicate an impeachment. Therefore, Pelosi is attempting to obstruct the Senate’s power to act on its constitutional authority. McConnell should immediately put an end to this and declare the impeachment null and void as the speaker has failed to complete the impeachment process by timely sending it to the Senate for adjudication,” he continued. “McConnell has no less authority to unilaterally make such a decision than Pelosi does to withhold the administrative notification of an impeachment to the Senate either indefinitely or with conditions. Her effort to cripple the presidency and blackmail the Senate must be defeated.”

Parliamentary system. I have stated my case and the beginning of a solution.

Have the Senate Judicial Committee start hearings on Biden corruption and kickbacks. That will get Dems’ attention.

It’s not a parliamentary system at all. The only way that happens is if the House somehow manages to eliminate the Senate from existence, which isn’t going to happen anytime soon.

P.S. — Nothing the House has done has prevented any department or office of the U.S. government from functioning as normal ... which pretty much goes to show you how ineffective the whole charade has been.

You seem incapable of understanding it. If they succeed then you will understand - but then it will be too late. Study separation of powers.

I have made my case.

Great -- you've made your case.

Mitch McConnell shut that whole thing down before it even got out of the gate less than 12 hours after these stupid articles of impeachment were voted out of the House last week.
