Technically speaking, the mentioned groups *are* Caucasian, although not all Caucasians are white.

The exception would be the Asians. To an American, Asians do not include Indians or Pakistanis, both of which are Caucasians. But to Brits, Asian does include those groups. And if you look at actual Asians—Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, etc., most of them appear white (if you look at skin color only and not race).

I hate the leftist practice of separating people according to their superficial physical appearance, rather than on who they are.

A Russian, ethnically Slavic immigrant friend was angered and scandalized when we called him and his wife Caucasians. When we explained what we meant, but he still rejected it vehemently.
