In a statement after the vote, Gabbard said she was “standing in the center” with her vote.
“I could not in good conscience vote against impeachment because I believe President Trump is guilty of wrongdoing,” she wrote in the statement.
“I also could not in good conscience vote for impeachment because removal of a sitting President must not be the culmination of a partisan process, fueled by tribal animosities that have so gravely divided our country,” she added.

Which she deserves. She's a pandering coward trying straddle the center. There is no center here. There is right and there is wrong. And she's afraid to commit to either. Those are not leadership qualities.

Politicians live on attention. She’s getting it for this vote, so it’s a plus for her.
