Polls are never skewed by bad questions, LOL. Another FAUX outlier.

...Most people cannot imagine wealth of this level...nor do they understand trickle down taxation. Heck even I dream of smarmy Warren Buffet paying more taxes...

Go ahead. Do it.

And then watch industry, jobs, and the strength of our country go overseas.

The idea of progressive taxation policies has been firmly established in the American psyche. Years of ‘rats hounding wealthy people “ to pay their fair share” have convinced the average person that, somehow it isn’t fair for other people to have so much, no matter how they came by it.. Whenever “fairness” raises its ugly head, you know resentment and hostility will soon follow.

No surprise that a majority of people would be glad to see the plutocrats pay up some of their wretched excess.

Let’s call it like it is...if the Fox poll was the opposite, we’d be touting it...polls, for the most part, are designed to drive public opinion and should be taken with a grain of salt...in all cases, not just the ones we don’t like.

And it all depends on WHO is polled and HOW the questions are asked...

I see this a bit differently. I believe in a flat tax, so I agree with your point about progressive taxation. I am also vehemently opposed to a wealth tax - or any increases in taxes.

That said, I think there are a lot of people out there who resent liberal billionaires supporting higher tax rates (largely higher income tax rates) that would affect all those trying to climb up the ladder a few rungs, but would have negligible effects on these uber wealthy liberals. People like Buffet don't have to show any income in any specific year, so income tax rate hikes are not a concern to them. The threat of a ‘wealth tax’ on their assets makes them vulnerable, for essentially the first time, to the liberal tax policies they have been supporting.

I still don't support a wealth tax, and think it's an unconstitutional slippery slope that will destroy our economy, tank the markets, markedly drop the value of people's 401Ks, and ultimately hurt the middle class the most. I was just conjecturing why there may be some reflexive support for it.

Half of the Conservatives the pollsters call aren’t picking up the phone. The other half are lying to them.

They have already been taxed on the income when making this money. Now they are being taxed just for having money. If you save any money, the government will justify taking it away.

Does Fox have the weirdest poll results or am I Biased?

I just disregard them entirely along with Fox news generally. Except Sean.

Fox Business is the place to be. Except Cavuto.

"Shocking Fox News Poll: Far Greater Support for Wealth Tax Than Border Wall"

Speaks volumes on FAUXNEWs (using Paul Ryan's suggestions) sources to run their polling now.

As another example; "50% Support Trump's Impeachment & Removal"
