I'm glad you said that and after swapping FR mail with LS,Larry Schwiegert recently it appears to be heading that way.Larry is a brilliant pollster as well as historian and he is out there polling like mad all over the place and every month its looking better and better.
The 31 dems who took over in conservative areas are dead in the water if they vote for impeachment. Going to be interesting who ol' Nasty Nan forces to fall on their proverbial swords.
I telephoned my rep, Joe Cunningham (D-SC), who responded by letter to my protest against impeachment. It was a canned letter that was directed more about his vote on the impeachment inquiry than the actual vote coming up this week. He said he was just interested in transparency and the facts and had not made up his mind on impeachment. The rubber hits the road on Wednesday. I hope he votes yes so we can tattoo his vote on his forehead.
Cunningham is the first Dem for this district in 40 years, being elected in 2018 after Mark Sanford was beaten in the Rep primary. A heavy turnout in 2020 will end his career in Congress.
