Well Tobin, your not journalist. You are political hacks on the level of Pravda. There are only a few real journalists. You want to find out how to be one, follow John Solomon or Sarah Carter. The rest of of your ilk has lost the trust of the American people and now seen as Enemies of the State.
Toobin is about as good a barometer of Beltway conventional wisdom as there is. He sounds a little worried.
“I just don’t know what our responsibility is as journalists because it’s not the point, but this is the news,”
Very telling quote. It’s not news if we don’t like it?
They dont need counseling. They need jailing.
And, once again, I’m right; the sinking Titanic of lies begins to force the rats to jump ship. TRUTH AND AUTHENTICITY MEETS THE (CLICHÉD) “END OF THE DAY” bullshit. There are lemmings and there are also ‘coward’ lemmings. Jeffrey wants to preserve the excuse that is his “career”.
He’s won in Many ways.
Using the Dems. rules, any President could be impeached.
They have opened up a can of worms for the future of all Presidents.
None of you do. That's why we hate your guts! :)
The Democrats have accomplished something once thought unimaginable. They have turned Trump into a persecuted victim worthy of sympathy.
This impeachment, the Mueller investigation and the FISA abuse have come up completely empty and despite this onslaught of resistance, he has built a dynamic economy.
This is CNN trying to convince Trump not to extend the trial and call witnesses.
He had NO shame.
Ingraham just played the clip.
“You know you want it” Toobin makes my skin crawl.

Toobin wrote the “Talk of the Town” column for the New Yorker that came out right after the 1998 Congressional mid terms. The GOP kept the House but lost their margin. The mainstream interpretation was that this was a loss for the GOP and it would take the wind out of the impeachment sails. Toobin’s first line in that column read “Mistah Impeachment, he be daid.” Well, Jeff, not so fast. The House got its job done in 1998 only to have the Senate GOP lose its nerve in 1999.
In the current example - Trump needs this to go to the Senate to allow witnesses to be called, and a complete dissection of this sham needs to be done in broad daylight.
If you allow this to stop with no articles of impeachment - they will just gin it up again next April. If it needs GOP votes in the House to get it to the Senate - they should be supplied.
Unfortunately, I am not so sure the Senate will give President Trump opportunity to confront his accusers.
I thought it was the now debunked story that Joe had the prosecutor fired.
