The state of Washington on Thursday proposed bans on the sale of "assault weapons" and high capacity magazines, part of a package of gun laws meant to address a rising wave of U.S. mass shootings.
If successful, Washington would become the seventh U.S. state to ban assault weapons, which it defines as semi-automatic rifles with at least one military feature, and the ninth to limit the capacity of ammunition magazines.

Hell, we won’t even bother hiding them on the dry side of the state. Neither will most sheriff’s deputies with their own personal collections.
And as a caller to our local radio talk show just said, the Dem’s penultimate goal is to ban every firearm with ANY type of magazine (supposedly these are military-style weapons) and then every remaining firearm ultimately.

The ruling law of any state is first The Constitution of the United States. Any state law is subservient. There are legal methods outlined in the Constitution for changing it. Use them or STFU.
The BLM has effectively banned guns May through October on public lands here in the desert by not allowing target shooting due to “fire risk”.

The Second Amendment protects actual 'weapons of war'; what the heck do you suppose a "well regulated militia" would be armed with?
