In FL, a governor can remove a sheriff for cause. Can VA do this too?

The LIB/PROG/COMMIE governor wants to pass and enforce laws that VIOLATE THE SECOND AMENDMENT of the CONSTITUTION of the UNITED STATES?
The County Sheriffs have simply stated that they will not enforce a law the violates the Constitution!
Basically telling the gov “COME AND TAKE THEM”.
