A sitting POTUS cannot investigate a rival no matter what allegations of criminal behavior are presented....it might help the POTUS.

Huber recently asked for documents from MDA Analytics LLC, a private firm that has also been investigating the Clinton Foundation. The firm has already reached out to the FBI’s Little Rock office as well as the Department of Justice and the IRS to share details about their investigation

So, IF Huber is the real deal, then this is another blow to the prestige of the FBI. A US attorney does not trust the FBI to do their job and won't even use them, going to an outside firm instead.

I must be really jaded by all of this. First thought is the deep state is throwing her under the bus. “Whistleblowers” have had these documents for years. They DON”T want her getting into the race. And she has displayed signs of entering or being “handy” at a brokered convention. All this time conservatives have been yelling at Trump to lock her up and the deep state will do it.
