Then the D’s took control of the legislature and found it convenient to ignore state constitutional limits on their actions.
They undid decades of slow RKBA enhancements in a single session.
No point in fleeing, nowhere is truly safe so long as the majority of gun owners remain on the sidelines.
The fight to get Constitutional Carry here was long and hard. It only came into effect 5/24/16 and will NOT go away any time soon and CERTAINLY not without a fight that NO ONE in Charleston wants to see.
I specifically mention the date in my #125 to show that the laws were passed while bucking the popular trend for increased controls.
