Burisima Buddies!
Loser endorses loser
Good cover for payoff to their sons?
Rich old white guy endorses even older white guy.
Sweet! The kiss of Death!
I respect that he is endorsing Biden.
Kerry wants his old job back so can help Iran
We saw exactly what your party considers putting things back together John. Sorry, I will pass. MAGA 2020.
Kerry is hoping for VP. It won’t happen.
Weren’t the Kerry/Biden sons playmates in the Ukraine??
I can just imagine Joe appointing him SOS or another high position.
WELLLL; there’s the kiss of death!
Wow, what an honor and a great thing for you to do. When did you serve if I may ask? I was Navy '75-'86.
Spent my time mostly in NAS Cecil Field and USS JFK as attached airwing in the Med...I wonder if we ever crossed paths on liberty over in Naples...:) But yes...it was a real honor to meet them. I was so filled with gratitude for their outspoken opposition to the scumbag Kerry. They could have stayed home and watched it all from television, but more than a few of them spoke out and made themselves targets. I believe one of them lost his job over it.
Here are four of them, I think there were a few more there that night:
I was moved to buy this sticker from them and put it on the rear window of my car in this extreme blue state:
I drove around with this on my car for over a year, and my car never got keyed, but I did get flipped off by a little old lady with a gray bun. (I don't think she was that old, you know how Leftists all look older than they really are...)
They had a lot of contempt for him. They talked about how he showed up at one of their reunions before the 2004 campaign, and he showed up with a Swift Boat bomber jacket, and camera crews (IIRC) and thought he would be the center of attention. I believe he said most there just ignored him.
Last active duty was as a Naval Reserve recruiter at North Island San Diego. Living in Imperial Beach with the illegals using my side gate is how I got into that issue. I know more about that issue than many have forgotten. When your children awake crying, it never leaves your brain pan. I went out to confront a bunch with my PR-24 I was trained in Spain while Shore Patrol. They didn't expect such an encounter and left. Sorry, got off point.
Heh, never went ashore at Rota, but my favorite memory was being anchored offshore not far the USS Eisenhower on her first Med Cruise awaiting OUTCHOP, and woke up to the music playing over the 1MC of Gerry Rafferty's "Baker Street" with the line:
And when you wake up, it's a new morning
The sun is shining, it's a new morning
And you're going, you're going home
I can't listen to that song even today without feeling emotion...brings back memories!
I lived over in Yokosuka and Subic Bay for about five years as a kid...I imagine you saw some of those places!
And, thanks for serving!
Yup. Been to Yokosuka many times for shore liberty. Subic Bay was ... well, Subic...a unique liberty port. So you were a military kid and then joined? What was your rating? I was originally an ABF (fueler - grape) on the flight deck. Made E-6 when I converted to the new Navy Counselor rating while in Spain. Knew I would be heading back to the flight deck as an Airdale and didn't want those around the clock hours with baloney sandwiches during flight ops.
Planned to do my 20 or more, but NC was tightening and CPO was years away. I was offered the manager of a civilian warehouse, so got out and did well. If I had stayed one more year active, I could have changed my red crow and hash marks to Gold, but stuck at E-6 for too long. Still, the most rewarding years of my life and would do it all again, even with Soviet subs itching to sink us. Fair seas, Shipmate.
I was an aviation machinists mate...
I agree with you. The most formative and influential years of my life, FRiend...
Thank you for your service!
