I used one of those terminals! Ran a Wang VS-100 and VS-300 shop “back in the day” for BC/BS of IL’s Dental Division. Even had Virtual Terminals on it!
I sold dumb terminals to AT&T back in the late 70's where they resold them to the Baby Bells {which prior to 1984 AT&T owned}. Talk about a closed market.
Think about how times have changed.
A dumb terminal sold to the end used {the Baby Bells} for 3-6 thousand dollars, depending on the features.
It was not a computer, it was a terminal... good grief, technology has changed so fast, that even though I lived through it, it is tough to comprehend.
