Thousands of demonstrators in Hong Kong staged a Thanksgiving rally on Thursday evening in response to President Donald Trump signing two bills in support of the citys pro-democracy movement.
Demonstrators took to the streets shortly after the president signed the legislation. Some draped themselves in U.S. flags and expressed gratitude for the administrations support.

> Im just sick of us feeling that its our responsibility to have our hands all over the world, and to police so much of it. We have soldiers in almost every country in the world. Why?
Because we want to maintain our status as the most powerful nation on earth, and to that end, we better be on top of everything. The more powerful we are, the more vigilant well have to be; though I agree we should reevaluate all our foreign deployments periodically.

(That the CCP was basically mute after the Presidents revelation tells us the whole thing must be true.)

They seem to care about our flag more than commies over here.
