On a serious note, they will be arguing that the framers gave a lot of leeway in defining what constitutes an impeachable offence. They will have some business dealing of Trumps, that they will argue is grounds for impeachment.

The Dems have also picked up a few other House districts through recent lawfare court rulings. It’s very unlikely the GOP takes the House in 2020. The most likely 2020 scenario is we get what he have now: Trump win, GOP hold Senate and Dem hold ouse. I’d be happy with that after the biparitsan coup POTUS has faced.
