Exactly! Similar to my belief they should show up if Republicans are also allowed to have witnesses to counter the liberal academic “scholars” the Democrats will call. Otherwise tell the Democrats to call them back when they are interested in a fair process.

Before they serve this pile of food scraps over to the Senate, they may want to ask how much of the testimony and evidence would survive cross examination. And do they want to introduce the Biden’s into scope of inquiry?

Do you actually think the DEMs would keep their word if they somehow magically got Trump to appear before the committee? I see no avenue where Trump appears before the House.
They would put all the black caucus members on the committee to call Trump a racist woman abuser to a person incessantly for hours on end.
I see no reason to give further credence to these proceedings by adding a major media draw to a dying putsch.
Why give the corrupt communist circus any credibility at all? Stay the hell away and just Let it continue to discredit the D party bosses.
The Democrats remind me of a one-hit wonder from the 80s making a tour of the Holiday Inn circuit.
They have no clue how ridiculous they are.

We must, however, decline the invitation and seek to provide you a bit of advice on your proceedings.
We sincerely hope you are successful in voting to send Articles of Impeachment to the Senate, where, as lawyers for the POTUS, we will leave no stone unturned in pursuit of those individuals who have demonstrated a disdain for the results of the 2016 election and worked to subvert the Republic by using the apparatus of the government to persecute political enemies.

Trump will decline, and the DEMs will claim he is obstructing justice by not answer to the committee. An impeachment vote will follow as soon as one “major” poll claims Trump is losing support over avoiding the House committee.
However, there has been a complete blackout in the MSM regarding the Nunes memo. The Democrats are proceeding as if it never happened, and the Republicans are NOT pounding this request every hour of every day.
Based on the dead silence over the Nunes memo, it makes me think that Republicans are falling back on their weak, feckless, "battered wife" behaviors again, and not fighting for their minority rights on these committees.
