Absolutely nothing in the Constitution gives Congress the right to censure a co-equal branch of the Government.
Jackson, Tyler & Lincoln were censured. Its a “official reprimand” but it has no real constitutional meaning. Its effectively a “note home to their mother” that they were naughty!
