While Washington waits for the release of the Inspector Generals report, some leaks are making their way around town. One Americas Jack Posobiec spoke with Sidney Powell, General Michael Flynns attorney, to learn how it may affect his case.
I won't get my hopes up based on rumors spreading around Washington. (Who is spreading the rumors and why? What is their motivation? To 'get the truth out' or muddy the waters?)
Until someone comes forward who has read the complete report and is willing to state the facts they know in public it's all rumors and speculation.
The best you could do would be go to the press that is already in the FIBs pocket.
If that’s the route to go, then that’s the route to go. I’ve been in the interview rooms, conducting interviews with guys charged with all sorts of felonies, and they’ve all been recorded. Gone are the days of hiding the pinhole camera in the clock, as there’s no reason to hide it. If nothing else, it keeps the cops honest.
Anywho....I speak for me. I don’t care how it’s obtained. In this day and age, whether the MSM would do anything with it, is a moot point. Within a day or less, the recording and the documented lying of a federal agent would be all over the internet. Again. It’s something I would do.
But, as I stated when I first posted, if you told them you wanted a lawyer present and wanted to record the interview, they’ll more than likely take a, hard pass on that. There would be no way to reconcile any differences in “their report writing”, from “notes” taken during the interview, to the actual recording. They don’t like that.
Personally, I would ask them to submit all their questions in writing.
Then, you may be able to glean some insight into their thinking.
Then, don’t send them any answers.
Or, ask for more guidance on the meaning of certain questions.
I was told if I insisted on recording, there would be no interview.
Absolutely NOT.
Don't voluntarily commit a felony for them.
In 38 states and DC, only one person needs to conscent to a recording. If you are a party, that person can be you.
Four circuits have recognized a First Amendment right to record police and other public officials in public places.
Except indictments.
That is true, but the IG has no power to indict anyone, not even a ham sandwich. That is up to the DOJ, for better or worse.
There’s a big difference between ‘everything’ left that Flynn with his very capable attorney might need to get him off and anything to put the real, top-level Deep State players away.
Legal? Legal? Oh, forgot. Conservatives have to obey the laws. Dems don’t. /s
Not seeing why a sarcasm tag is necessary
“The Media are a Cult.”
Yes. They are driven by something other worldly. In a normal world 100% of these people wouldn’t be onboard with this groupthink. Prayer is our only hope to defeat the evil.
“Maybe she (Mrs. Strzok) should be working for the FBI.”
And maybe Mr. Strzok SHOULDN’T be working for the FBI if he’s so stupid as to carry on an affair using a phone his wife has access to. Sheesh... doesn’t he know anything about burner phones or a secret phone?
Even Walter White, not FBI, figured out, “TWO phones,”
I had an interview with the fbi in the early 80s without a lawyer.
I guy I had worked for had his car firebombed but I was in Vegas at the time and could prove it.
The guy was a "bad dude" {according to slow joe} and had loads of enemies.
The whole thing lasted less than 15 minutes but if it were something serious that I may have been involved with, I'd have had a lawyer present.
“Horowitz is a DEEP STATE DEMOCRAT!”
Rush said as much last week.
It doesn’t matter what the OIG report “has.” It only matters what the DOJ will prosecute.
Flynn will likely get a pardon if the case isn’t thrown out-—but not until after the election.
I’m in a one party notification state so no problem here.
You may well be correct.
However, that in no way diminishes my desire to see these assholes personally punished - RUINED! - for what they have done!
Maybe your own eyes would be sufficient. If there are indictments and convictions then believe what you see, if there are neither then also believe what you see. In my life time I have only seen the latter.
Negative thinkers are always right........... or pleasantly surprised.
If you have been following Brian Cates on Twitter (Writer Epoch Times) he said pretty much the same thing last night on Twitter and I think a link of his back in 2017ish were he thought Horowitz had it all and hints of it came out via Lindsey grilling RosenStien and others. I’d have to check Thomas Wictor if he has said it, maybe he said “Trump has it all” which in a way is the same thing....
Brian Cates touched on this in his Tweet last night. His assertion is she didn't get the info Illegally, the only legal source that had it and that would have shared it upon a proper request would have been Horowitz / Team Horowitz.. That makes a helluva lot of sense to me...
You keep saying we are #NeverTrumpers, we are not, we are realists and you guys are dreamers. We will believe it when we see it, not before so bug off.
Wrong.
The Supremes have held that public employees have no expectation of privacy while on the job. Ex: recording cops.
