But when will she show up for a full’s day of work? And I don’t mean working from home. Every other Justice shows up for work. Most government agencies you work for require you to be 100% fit for duty. If you have had surgery, or any other illness, and aren’t able to resume your full duties, but want to come back to work, you are given a certain period of time, usually up to three months on light duty. If you use up that light duty time, and can’t return to full duty, you have to go back out on sick leave. But the bottom line is, if you don’t return to full duty within the year of the date you originally went out, you are terminated for disability. No questions asked.
