The discussion period of this is over, and the President has directed subordinates to do as directed.
The next step is “You’re FIRED!” If for nothing else but to show who is the boss. Set the right example. Insubordination is running rampant throughout the government, and it’s past time to put an end to it. This one is OK for that stand IMO.
I blame Trump.
He is Commander in Chief of the armed forces and Chief Executive Officer of the Executive branch of government.
He could have fired every Obama loyalist and Deep State bureaucrat on his first day in office.
Instead, Trump retained many of those same people, and he promoted more than a few of them.
It does not matter if the Senate refuses to confirm Trump's nominees.
Trump could just leave those jobs vacant and require the subordinates to send every decision to the White House for final approval.
Until a few months ago, every Inspector General at the State Department, at Homeland Security, at Department of Defense, at Justice and the FBI, at CIA, at Intelligence Community, and at IRS Tax Compliance, were appointed by Obama!
That is incomprehensible negligence by Trump.
