Stacy Abrams would probably consent to take the VP slot. Deval Patrick may have joined the Presidential race just to be considered for the VP position. Jesse Jackson is too old. Al Sharpton is too toxic...Maxine Waters is both. There's always Cory Booker.
Who else is there? Oprah? Michelle? Eric Holder probably wouldn't generate any enthusiasm.

But reconsider the Trump nomination.
What he did was blow through a field of preselected "top Republicans" by exposing the fact that they were hollow men who had no substance beyond what the "donor community" had put there.
The Democrat donor candidate selection process is vulnerable to the same attack line.
Whether Mayor Pete is the guy to deliver the news, I have my doubts.
Bout both party establishments have sold out to the donors long ago, and candidates who pull back the curtain can prevail if the winds are right.
