"Laws are like sausages," Otto von Bismarck supposedly said. "It is better not to see them being made."
Suffering through far too many hours of the House impeachment this week reminded me of the truth of that political quip.
Making laws is a dirty, smelly, partisan, often corrupt business, even in the best democratic republics.

Schiffty is making a sham out of all politics. He is despicable along with Nanc.
Don’t forget the rending of their garments. That’s fun to watch also.
I think a large part of what is driving the shampeachment is that DemocRATs are so focused on doing only that which benefits them politically, that they cannot conceive of the idea that someone might actually enact policy that benefits the country. The idea is utterly foreign to them. So when they have "witnesses" to testify on what they think President Trump's motives are, they are incapable of understanding that not one of the witnesses actually revealed any ethics violations on the part of the President. Because they themselves would not enact any policy that does not involve personal gain, they see everyone as corrupt.
