So true...right up to and including the “heirloom” bric-a-brac hanging on the wall. Most “family treasures” will pass to Goodwill, no doubt.

And, I will care less.

I figure much the same. Collectively, we have spent seven decades since the war acquiring stuff. There is just too much to keep.

we just had new wood floors put in our main level....which meant emptying all the shelves, hutchs, etc.....I don't even want some of this stuff anymore let alone my kids, but the stuff does have some value......

goodwill or salvation army will mostly likely get it because craigs list is limited and I don't do ebay.....
