If a gay candidate had the same views as me, I wouldn't mind voting for him. I'm a social Libertarian, because I don't want the government to tell us how we need to behave in our own home. If it legal (and gay marriage, thou I don't like it, is legal), it shouldn't matter.

Smoking, even I don't smoke, should be should be fine without the government telling us it's bad.
