“PRESUMED”!!!!

Imagine being called as a witness at a REAL trial. You didn't see anything or hear anything. But you PRESUME the guy sitting in front of you is guilty.

Imagine the kind of country we'd have if THAT were accepted as evidence of guilt.

Yet THAT is how our Congress is operating. That is how CNN is operating. That is how our entire media is operating.

Simply amazing.

That is one of the issues that needs to be amplified. These low level bureaucrats and functionaries know what they know, but they don't know what they don't know. Maybe there is information not available to them. Information that the president may have, but not them. That's why it is the President who sets policy, not them. There may have been good reason to withhold aid. I see this all the time in organizations. People throughout the organization know how to run it (as they view it from their tiny corner). The people at the top may have issues to deal with that the lower tier people don't even know exist.
