Look, it is a foregone conclusion that the Rats are going to issue Articles of Impeachment. That is just a fact. That is primarily what they want (of course, they’d be giddy if Trump resigned or the Senate convicted and removed him, but neither is likely). They want an impeachment as a campaign issue for 2020.
Absolutely, but do they realize that the counter issue would be having Republican ads showing the Kavanaugh hearings and Schiff hearings and asking Americans "Is THIS the kind of government you want? How soon will they be coming for YOU?"
