Here's an example: the Army protecting Vindman confirms they are the deep state. Now, isn't that not only accurate, but also neatly sums up why Trump cannot realistically act against the deep state?
I sometimes wonder how is it that so many @ FR seem to really miss the big picture. The entire edifice of government, including the DoD and contractors, are intimately wed to the status quo. Foreign engagements are the literal life-blood for ambitious career officers. There is simply no advantage provided in defending the nation's actual borders vs commanding $ billion dollar divisions of men & equipment.
Thus we have the MIC firmly engaged in sabotaging Trump. QED So, where are all the flag worshippers now, when the flag is the official symbol of oppression? When does one finally wake up and realize the coup was actually successful? The only variable is when it actually too place: 50-60 years ago, heck, maybe 90, maybe even 110 years ago?
Trump was just the right kind of fool to use the citizen's dawning awareness to garner the office for himself, buy way, way too weak to actually take them on. Hence, the result we see today where he's paying the price for his hubris.
What?! President Trump’s “hubris”? That’s as crazy as Schiff’s eyes. Donald Trump ran because he thought he could make a positive difference for the nation he loves, and you call that hubris? Yes, he was an outsider to the DC Swamp, but the status quo desperately needed upending. As a result we are now in an existential fight for what kind of nation we will be going forward. If The Swamp wins, our constitutional form of government will end in all but name only. The Swamp will keep the veneer, but the substance will be gone forever.
One fact holds true and I always remember this:
NO OTHER SINGLE POLITICAL FIGURE IN HISTORY COULD ENDURE THE AMOUNT OF INVESTIGATIVE SCRUTINY TRUMP HAS ENDURED. NOBODY. MORE EVIDENCE THAT TRUMP IS A GODLY MAN, PUT HERE IN THIS PLACE AT THIS TIME FOR THE PURPOSE OF EXPOSING THE DEMONIC/SATANIC, HATEFUL LEFT AND THE SERIOUS THREAT THEY POSE TO OUR REPUBLIC.
