The ball is not in their court yet. The house cannot interfere into an active Senate investigation, and The Senate cannot interfere into an active house investigation. Same with both of those and the executive branch. Just as Trump and the executive cannot interfere in this house investigation. The Constitutional separation of powers are clear on this.

There were hearings in both the House and Senate during Watergate. That’s besides the point, really. The GOP Senate has a duty to gather facts regarding the coupists operating in the executive branch and committing crimes.
