My guess is that these people start thinking that they're going to have a career after Trump's term is over. And they all think they're clever enough to play both sides without getting touched. But in the end, no one likes disloyal people working for them.
I’m kinda discouraged why these people, all of them, are not loyal to the president. I agree, it’s like the new boss coming in, and they don’t like it.
You can thank the bipartisan nature of Never Trumpism for the full bloom of The Resistance. Had the GOP been firmly supportive of POTUS once he won the nom the Deep State bureaucrats would have tread much more carefully. Instead, the Deep State saw that nearly all of the GOPe preferred progressive Democrats to POTUS and the MAGA agenda. There is no cost opposing/obstructing MAGA and POTUS. It’s that simple.
